However, there are minor imperfections I noticed with the unit. The volume wheel appears to have a solder iron burn. The left side of the shell (gray bumper) appears loose with noticeable play. The directional buttons feel recessed deeper than the A/B buttons which is noticeably uneven during play (more thumb force for movements, etc.)

I ordered the same color as my OG one, and the color difference is shocking due to my original one being almost 20 years old. (Original on the bottom, new on the top) I found that the GBA magnifying accessory does not quite fit and the battery cover is not interchangeable with the original. Super happy with this and excited to play my favorite GBA games on it without playing the mini-game to find good light.

Initially, my GBA was not reading the cartridges. But I sent a message to the seller, and they gave me a shipping label to send it back for repair. I did have to nudge them about a week later to actually get the label, but it was over the holidays and I got the label within an hour after the reminder. 2 weeks after shipping it out, it came back working great! 10/10 service.

This feels and looks like the original and the IPS screen is a literal game changer. I like that you're given the option to do different add ons but you're not forced into it if it's not something you want. Fast shipping, great packaging, I'm probably going to order another in the near future but have more fun with the shell.
